This SHORE COD Sea Fishing Pack is a perfect selection for those that will be targeting cod over the next few months with the hope of catching a few for the freezer and of course that elusive monster. 

 The Pulley Rigs are made with 70lb Asso Rig Body and 50lb or 60lb Asso line as the hook length dependant on hook size. The Livebait rigs are made with 80lb Asso Line/Rig Body and the hooks kept apart with the use of shrink tube, ensuring a high hook up ratio of big cod. All components are sourced from UK wholesalers - the rigs are Made in GB by myself and individually checked so will not fall to pieces after the first cast like some of the rigs made with components coming from China. Swivels are CJT Power Swivels, the best on the market.

 The pulley pennel rigs allows long and large baits to be fished without reducing the chance of a hooking the fish. The second pulley hook also has shrink tube on the shank of the hook to enable easy movement and placement of the hook within the bait. The single hook pulley rigs are ideal for worm baits when the cod are at great distance.

 The pulley system lifts the lead out of the way of tackle grabbing rocks and weed when retrieving a fish. The bait clip allows the bait to be clipped behind the lead weight, streamlining and increasing casting distance.

The Livebait rigs are fished with a small amount of bait on the 1/0 hook.  This is cast out and once a whiting takes the bait it is hooked and becomes your cod Livebait.  Once the cod arrives and swallows the whiting, it also takes the larger hook as well and hooks itself. These rigs are different than most with the use of shrink tube which prevents the smaller hook from riding up in the currents and tangling up on the main hook.
