Sliding Pulley Pennel Rig

The Sliding Pulley Pennel rig is exactly the same as the pulley rig, just with a 2 hook pennel arrangement in place of the single hook.

 This allows long and large baits to be fished without reducing the chance of a hooking the fish. The sliding pulley hook uses a system of loops to hold the hooks which means that you can you easily adjust them when using medium to large baits.

 Also the ‘double loop’ feature also means that should you hook a very big fish you effectively have 2 x 40lb line as a safety valve so that the chances of landing are much higher as it would take far longer to bite through two lengths of 40lb trace line. I use these on the Bristol Channel and have every confidence in landing and bonus conger that takes my bait.

 The pulley system lifts the lead out of the way of tackle grabbing rocks and weed when retrieving a fish. The bait clip allows the bait to be clipped behind the lead weight, streamlining and increasing casting distance. It is an excellent rig for big ray, cod or eels and can be used with or without a rotten bottom link.

 Rigs are made with 70lb breaking strain line for the trace body and 40 - 80lb snood dependant on hook size. There is a swivel at the top for quick change and a rig clip for the weight. All Rigs come individually packed with rig details on each pack.
