Long Distance Plaice/Flattie Wishbone Rig

The wishbone rig is ideal for targeting plaice and other flatfish.

The two-hook set-up allows for the use of two baits to be presented, doubling your chances of a bite, or two different baits can be used when bites become scarce.

The beads on the snoods provide extra attraction in addition to the two baited hooks.

The ability to clip two baited hooks behind a bait shield ensures that your bait reaches your target in pristine condition, and that the rig creates minimum drag for maximum casting range.

Main Rig Body tied with Asso Classic 70lb line

Snood tied with 40lb Asso Classic Line and 20lb Asso Oblivion for the wishbone.

there is a high quality 43KG breaking strain Pulley bead, plus 2 buffer beads to stop and damage from the rig body.

**UPDATE:  I found that the swivels being used on the Pulley beads were breaking less than 60lb breaking strain when tested and never over 70lb and potentially a danger to other anglers if power casting.  Therefore I  upgraded to a 295lb breaking strain  CJT power swivel at no extra cost.  ***

Also 2 beads on the wishbone to prevent the swivel going over the stop knot on each hook.
